Ryan joined Structura in 2008 after graduating from Penn State and is a key member of the firm’s leadership team and Management Committee, overseeing project operations for the Baltimore, North Bethesda, and Charlotte offices.
With extensive experience across hundreds of projects, Ryan specializes in a wide range of structural systems, including concrete, structural steel, cold-formed metal stud walls, and wood construction, as well as Hambro, Infinity, and modular systems. His technical expertise and leadership drive Structura’s commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality engineering solutions.
He is an active member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), the Structural Engineers Association of Metropolitan Washington (SEA-MW), and the American Concrete Institute (ACI), and also contributes to the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) NEXT initiative and supports professional standards through the National Council of Examiners for Engineering & Surveying (NCEES).
