Engineering Intern - Design

Hiring for All Office Locations (North Bethesda, Baltimore, Richmond, Alexandria & Charlotte)
Hybrid Position: Remote Mondays & Fridays, In Office Tuesdays-Thursdays
Requirements

·  Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or architectural engineering

·  Must have completed at least 48 credit hours and maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA

·  Enrolled in courses focused on building design with a variety of materials (including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood)

·  Experience with various design and modeling software, including Bentley products (Revit, AutoCAD, RAM Concept, RAM Steel, etc.)

·  Familiarity with applicable building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, etc.)

·  Strong critical thinking, oral, and written communication skills

·  Versatility and ability to multitask on several projects with minimal supervision

Structura,Inc. is seeking Engineering Interns pursuing 4-year degrees at accredited universities to join our teams! This role requires candidates to collaborate with team members across offices on various projects to get familiarized with firm processes/procedures and is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive environment while assisting with designing various project elements, shadowing project managers on active client site visits, and attending seasonal firm networking outings.

Job Type:               Internship

Experience:          Full-Time; Part-Time; Seasonally

On-Site Role:        Monday – Friday; 9:30am – 5:30pm daily

Compensation:    Hourly (depending on experience)
