Mark Erdman, PE

Since joining Structura in 1999, Mark Erdman has led the structural design of numerous high-profile projects, utilizing materials such as structural steel, reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, masonry, light-gauge steel, and wood. As the manager of Structura’s Baltimore office, Mark oversees recruiting efforts, financial performance, and business development initiatives across the DC and Baltimore markets. In 2014, his exceptional contributions to the field earned him national recognition as one of just 15 structural engineers named a Rising Star by Civil + Structural Engineering magazine.

Mark is actively involved in numerous industry organizations, including the ULI Baltimore NEXT Steering Committee, ULI Revitalization and Reuse Committee, American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) - MD, Council of American Structural Engineers (CASE), American Institute of Architects (AIA) - Baltimore and Richmond, Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). Additionally, he has shared his expertise as a guest lecturer at Johns Hopkins University’s Whiting School of Engineering. His leadership, technical expertise, and active industry engagement reflect his dedication to advancing structural engineering and fostering strong client relationships.
