Structura was engaged by a rehabilitation contractor to provide specialized engineering solutions for the repair and reinforcement of deteriorated precast prestressed concrete quad-tees at the Iverson Mall parking garage. Acting as the specialty design engineer, Structura developed cost-effective, value-engineered repair strategies, including shoring drawings and detailed repair specifications, supported by formal calculation packages for submission to the engineer of record.

The project also involved comprehensive load testing to confirm the effectiveness of the repairs. Structura designed and administered load testing procedures, supervised the testing process, and monitored the quad-tees’ performance under load. By implementing value-engineered solutions, Structura helped expedite the project’s completion, delivering an efficient and durable repair outcome for the client.
