Structura was honored to partner with DLR Group on the UNC Health Blue Ridge Valdese Cancer Center, a 35,000 SF addition and remodel that consolidated oncology services under one roof to enhance the patient and staff experience.

Structura delivered solutions to support advanced medical technology, including two Linear Accelerators, a CT Simulator, and a Superficial X-ray machine. Our scope encompassed structural designs for infusion therapy areas, treatment rooms, and spaces for radiation and chemotherapy, ensuring the framework met the stringent requirements of cutting-edge equipment while allowing flexibility for future upgrades.

First accredited by the Commission on Cancer in 1972, the Valdese Cancer Center remains one of North Carolina’s longest-continuously accredited programs, strengthened by these transformative renovations. Structura is proud to contribute to its ongoing legacy of exceptional care.
