Structura was pleased to partner with Waldon Studio Architects (WSA) on the design and construction of additions and renovations included in the third phase of their master plan for Bay Area Community Church's Annapolis, MD campus to provide a Student Center and Children's Wing. Scope of work included the build out of a 9K SF east-side addition, a 6.5K+ SF west-side three story addition, and an 8K+ SF lobby expansion simultaneously. The primary structure of the new additions was comprised of structural steel with deck supported composite slabs, designed to be structurally independent from the previous project phases, and foundations utilizing conventional spread footings.
