As the Structural Engineer of Record, Structura provided comprehensive design and engineering services for the newly constructed Rockville Evangelical Mission in Gaithersburg, MD. This two-story, 20K SF house of worship was thoughtfully designed with a ground level elevation of 473 feet.

Serving the church’s Chinese congregation, many of whom are mainland Chinese immigrants, the project required a sensitive approach to both functionality and community integration. Structura’s engineering expertise contributed to creating a welcoming and functional space that supports the church’s mission and fosters a strong sense of connection within the congregation. The collaboration with CCR Architects and UA Design ensured that the church’s design needs were met while adhering to structural integrity and safety standards, creating a durable and lasting place of worship.
