Spanning 82 acres, Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center is a state-of-the-art healthcare campus that integrates a 207K SF hospital with a 36-bed inpatient facility, a 16-bay emergency department, and specialized services such as maternity, rehabilitation, cardiovascular care, imaging, laboratory, and pharmacy. Complementing the hospital, a 60K SF adjoining medical office building accommodates physician practices and additional medical services, creating a comprehensive healthcare destination.

Structura was proud to collaborate closely with Gresham Smith to bring this vital facility to life. Our team designed and engineered the structural systems for both the hospital and the medical office building, ensuring their durability, efficiency, and adaptability to the complex demands of healthcare environments. Particular attention was given to optimizing structural layouts to accommodate specialized equipment, large open spaces for patient flow, and future expansions, all while meeting stringent building codes and healthcare standards.
