Structura served as the Structural Engineer of Record in collaboration with Gresham Smith for the multi-phase renovation and expansion of Novant Health’s Forsyth Medical Center campus in Winston-Salem, NC. As part of Novant Health’s initiative to modernize and upgrade the facility, Structura supported the expansion of the Priority 1A Critical Care Tower, ensuring structural integrity during the addition of new levels and enhanced safety features. The scope of work also involved reconfiguring and refreshing the general tower’s inpatient floor, transforming the space to provide a more functional and patient-centered environment. Structura’s engineering solutions played a crucial role in creating a contemporary design that meets Novant Health’s evolving needs while maintaining its strong connection to the community.
