Structura served as the structural engineer of record for the Hilton Garden Inn renovation in downtown Annapolis, MD, overseeing a range of structural improvements to the existing 121-room hotel. Our scope included designing a new interior on-grade concrete ramp to connect floors with different elevations, as well as two new 2-riser concrete stairs to improve vertical circulation.

Additionally, we designed a new exterior entry vestibule, an office and storage room, and on-grade bollards within the parking area for safety. We also provided structural support for underside bracing and new steel framing where needed. Throughout the project, Structura collaborated with Studio //3877 to ensure all structural elements met operational and aesthetic requirements, contributing to the hotel’s revitalization.
