Structura served as the Structural Engineer of Record for Brightview Woodmont, a new 8-story, 112-unit senior living community located in Bethesda, MD. This innovative urban high-rise was designed to provide assisted living and memory care residences for seniors, offering a comprehensive range of services and amenities tailored to its residents' needs. The project encompassed the design of a 100K SF facility, which includes one level of below-grade parking, a welcoming lobby, and expansive amenity spaces on the ground floor. Residential units are spread across the second to sixth floors, providing comfortable living spaces with a focus on accessibility and well-being.

Project scope included ensuring the building’s structural integrity while incorporating sustainable features such as a green roof, which contributes to the building’s environmental goals and supports energy efficiency. The team also collaborated on implementing other sustainable design elements, aligning the project with modern standards for green building practices. Brightview Woodmont stands as a model of thoughtful design, balancing the need for functional, safe spaces for seniors with the aesthetic and environmental considerations of modern urban living.
