Housing the main dining room beneath 30'H ceilings, the 7,000 SF restaurant is a composite of two main dining spaces complemented by several smaller rooms. A mezzanine level spans the length of the main dining room, hovering above an open kitchen. The modern American restaurant also features a 16'H living wall, with plants growing on it, above stairs to the mezzanine level.
The project involved the construction of a new mezzanine and grand staircase at what was once an existing vacant space at the recently renovated Gunther Apartments in the Canton neighborhood of Baltimore, MD. The existing space was one of the last available buildings as part of the historic Gunther Brewery complex.
