Leveraging decades of expertise in building alterations and renovations, our team seamlessly transformed Gensler’s DC office location to deliver a striking collaborative space tailored to their needs.

Project scope included a second phase expansion and significant renovations to the main office suite. This involved removal of two floor slab bays to create a dramatic interior atrium featuring free-flowing staircases at two separate locations and connecting three levels. Additionally, a new interior elevator shaft was installed to enhance vertical connectivity, along with exterior facade updates to create a modern, welcoming street-level lobby. Additional scope included facade modifications to accommodate a telescoping glass wall that could provide seamless rooftop terrace access, which required extensive structural reinforcement of the existing concrete roof slab to ensure both functionality and design integrity.
