With decades of expertise in building alterations and renovations, our team seamlessly transformed Gensler’s Washington, DC office into a stunning, collaborative workspace tailored to their vision.

The project’s scope encompassed a second-phase expansion and significant renovations to the main office suite. Key highlights included the removal of two floor slab bays to create a striking interior atrium, complete with flowing staircases at two locations that connect three levels. To enhance vertical circulation, we installed a new interior elevator shaft, while updates to the exterior façade introduced a modern, inviting street-level lobby.

Additional renovations included modifying the façade to incorporate a telescoping glass wall for seamless rooftop terrace access. This required extensive structural reinforcement of the existing concrete roof slab, ensuring both functionality and design integrity while delivering a bold, contemporary space.
