The Helix, Booz Allen's Center for Innovation, represents the culmination of a decade-long design and business partnership, reconceiving the original space completed by OTJ Architects in 2016 to deliver a state-of-the-art digital, immersive experience dedicated to helping clients understand how transformative technologies can help solve critical challenges across global defense, national security, and climate resilience.

OTJ engaged Structura to provide interior design development and construction support for the newly improved space in Downtown DC that features the latest collaboration technologies, lab spaces, and conference capabilities, plus multiple operable partitions that allow it to transition from office to event space for over 100 people with an aesthetically arresting showcase that weaves together a minimalist material palette of polished concrete, wood, and metal accents.
