Structura was pleased to partner with OTJ Architects on the redesign of The Helix, Booz Allen’s Center for Innovation, a cutting-edge space in Downtown DC that showcases transformative technologies in global defense, national security, and climate resilience. This project builds upon a decade-long collaboration between the teams, reimagining the original 2016 space to create a state-of-the-art digital and immersive experience for Booz Allen's clients.

Project scope involved providing interior design development and construction support to ensure the successful transformation of the space. The upgraded facility features advanced collaboration technologies, lab spaces, and flexible conference rooms, with multiple operable partitions that allow the space to seamlessly transition from office to event space for over 100 people. The design incorporates a minimalist material palette of polished concrete, wood, and metal accents, creating an aesthetically arresting environment that supports the dynamic functions of the center.
