The Voxel, formerly the Autograph Theatre on W 25th St in Baltimore, MD, is a one-story structure originally built in 1946. Over the years, it has undergone several renovations, and most recently, Structura collaborated with Ziger / Snead to oversee extensive renovations that transformed the building into a black box theater and cultural tech lab.

Structura provided critical structural design and support throughout the adaptive reuse process. Our work included evaluating and reinforcing the existing structure to accommodate the building’s new function while preserving its historic character. This involved addressing challenges related to load-bearing systems, floor plans, and integrating modern systems into the existing structure. We're proud to have contributed to the revitalization of The Voxel, now a vibrant cultural hub that supports the community through its innovative use of space.
