Structura was proud to collaborate with MV+A Architects and Brookfield Properties on the design and construction of Block F and The Edmund, the inaugural phases of the transformative Halley Rise development in Reston, VA. As the foundation for this vibrant, multi-phase community, the project features two levels of underground parking accommodating approximately 520 vehicles, a six-level precast concrete parking garage for 435 cars, 110K SF of ground-level retail space—including a grocery store—and 380 residential units. Together, the total development spans approximately 760K SF, excluding the precast garage.

Structura’s scope included providing comprehensive structural design services to support the complex below-grade parking structure, ensuring its seamless integration with the surrounding residential and commercial components. Our team also engineered the structural framework for the precast parking garage and collaborated closely with the design team to align the retail and residential spaces into a cohesive and efficient design.
