Structura was proud to serve as the structural engineer of record for the design and construction of The PERLA, a newly constructed mixed-use, multi-family residential building located at the intersection of 9th and O Streets NW in Washington, DC’s vibrant Logan Circle neighborhood. The eight-story building features two below-grade levels and encompasses over 129K SF, including retail space on the first floor, residential amenities, and 66 units spanning floors 2 through 8.

Project scope involved designing the building’s complex structural systems, ensuring the safe integration of the 32,500 SF parking garage beneath the residential spaces, which includes 52 parking spaces. Additionally, the team collaborated closely with WDG Architecture to integrate a rooftop penthouse with private terraces, ensuring structural stability and functionality throughout the building. The project exemplifies Structura’s expertise in delivering robust, modern structures that enhance both the community and the architectural landscape of Logan Circle.
