Structura partnered with Gensler to deliver the renovation and tenant improvement phases of Meta’s Washington, DC headquarters, spanning nine floors of an 11-story office building. This transformative project included the installation of three state-of-the-art commercial kitchens across multiple levels, supported by new mechanical systems integrated into both the interior spaces and the building’s main roof.

Beyond the kitchen installations, Structura’s scope encompassed comprehensive design and structural services. Key elements included reviewing and accommodating new kitchen and mechanical equipment, structural reinforcement for equipment loads and floor openings, and supplemental strengthening for a new data center.

Additional highlights included the design of a custom steel staircase, structural support for kitchen exhaust ductwork along the building’s exterior, and a rooftop screen wall to discreetly house new mechanical equipment. Structura provided full construction documentation and administration, ensuring precision and seamless execution across all phases of the project.
