Structura was pleased to collaborate with Perkins+Will on the design and construction of a six-story, 210K SF steel-framed healthcare office building, which consolidates a medical practice previously spread across multiple locations into a single, unified facility. The building’s structural design includes special concentric braced frames for stability on the shorter side, complemented by deep column special moment frames in the other direction to ensure robust structural performance.

The facility features a dramatic three-story atrium that serves as a central focal point, along with green roofs that contribute to the building's sustainability efforts. The foundation of the building is supported by stone columns, a distinctive feature that enhances the overall structural integrity and load distribution. Structura’s role encompassed the detailed design and engineering of the building’s structural systems, ensuring the seamless integration of functional and aesthetic elements while meeting the unique requirements of a modern healthcare office environment.
