Structura was honored to collaborate with MV+A Architects and Rooney Properties on the design and construction of Faraday Park East in Reston, VA. This multi-family residential development spans five stories with ground-floor retail space, totaling 268,400 SF. The project also includes a precast concrete detached parking garage, designed to accommodate 223 vehicles, complementing the building’s residential and retail components.

As the structural engineer of record, Structura’s scope included the detailed design and analysis of the building's structural elements, ensuring that the foundation, framing, and parking garage met both functional and safety requirements. The garage was carefully integrated with the surrounding residential and retail spaces to optimize accessibility and efficiency. Additionally, Structura worked closely with the project team to ensure that the structural design was aligned with the project’s sustainability goals and the architectural vision, contributing to a modern, vibrant, and well-connected community in Reston.
