Structura was honored to serve as the structural engineer of record for Dhollandia's 315K SF North American headquarters, located in Gaston County, NC. Designed by Gresham Smith Architects, the facility includes an 18K SF two-story corporate office with a mezzanine, alongside a production area that is poised for a future 78K SF expansion. The design cleverly integrates efficient manufacturing spaces with an aesthetically appealing office environment, featuring clear sightlines from the office to production areas, abundant natural light, a product showroom, and versatile event spaces.

The project utilized tilt-up construction, and Structura’s role included comprehensive steel framing and tilt-up panel engineering. Our team provided detailed shop drawings for the 73 tilt-up panels, which covered approximately 58K SF. This included careful planning of panel layouts, openings, reveals, embeds, and reinforcement, as well as specifying 1,434 cubic yards of concrete, 7,132 linear feet of reveals, and 880 embedded items. By delivering these comprehensive construction documents, Structura streamlined the building process, helping ensure the successful execution of this complex project.
