As the Structural Engineer of Record, Structura played a key role in the design and construction of this 250K SF warehouse, utilizing tilt-up construction for the building’s exterior. Working in collaboration with Merriman Schmitt Architects, Structura provided a complete design package, including steel framing and tilt-up panel engineering. This package featured detailed shop drawings for all panels, openings, reveals, embeds, and reinforcement, ensuring that the tilt-up subcontractor could proceed without delays during the review process.

The project involved the construction of 90 tilt-up panels, covering a gross area of 90,653 SF, and a net area of 85,277 SF. Structura’s team engineered the use of 2,430 cubic yards of concrete, with a reinforcement ratio of 3.67 psf, alongside 17,516 linear feet of architectural reveals and 1,349 embedded items. Through meticulous planning and coordination, Structura helped deliver a highly efficient and structurally sound warehouse that meets the project’s functional and aesthetic goals.
