As the structural engineer of record, Structura provided comprehensive design-build documents for the newly constructed 15K SF Mitsubishi car dealership in Frederick, MD. The project featured a unique combination of a 100’W x 120’L pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) and a 95’L x 30’W conventionally framed structure. While these two buildings were independent, they were designed to function cohesively as a single facility.

Structura’s role involved designing the structural elements to support the state-of-the-art facility, which incorporates Mitsubishi’s new branding identity with sleek materials and modern customer areas. The dealership includes a fully glazed showroom and an on-site full-service repair shop, providing an inviting, functional space that aligns with Mitsubishi’s vision. Structura ensured the structural design met both the aesthetic and operational needs of the dealership, contributing to the successful completion of this modern, high-quality facility.
