Alarm.com engaged OTJ Architects to design a multi-level Northern VA headquarters that would energize staff and inspire continued innovation through a unique focus on the enhancement of workplace well-being. Structura was thrilled to provide design development and construction support to bring this engaging space to life, incorporating a variety of sustainable materials and finishes throughout.

The space's major focal point is an open interconnecting stair between floors 9-11 (with the possibility of extending to the 8th floor later) and allows for easy access between departments while also connecting high-impact areas, including the communal pantry, IT genius bar, and main reception. The upper three floors maintain an open floor plan with offices, a board room, conference and huddle rooms, small testing labs, kitchenettes, and private restrooms in addition to the base building public restrooms.
