Structura was pleased to collaborate with GTM Architects on the design and construction of Park Kennedy, a transformative mixed-use, multi-family residential development in Southeast DC. Situated adjacent to the Stadium-Armory Metro station, the project serves as a gateway to the future 68-acre Hill East district waterfront neighborhood.

As the structural engineer of record, Structura provided comprehensive engineering services for two new buildings, ranging from four to seven stories in height. The development includes below-grade parking, a rooftop amenity space, 262 luxury apartment units, and more than 16K SF of retail space, with an inviting outdoor seating plaza. Structura’s expertise was key in ensuring the structural integrity of the project, particularly in integrating the below-grade parking structure and supporting the complex design elements of the residential and retail spaces. The Park Kennedy development exemplifies Structura’s ability to deliver modern, functional structures that enhance the urban fabric an underserved community.
