Structura collaborated with Hord Coplan Macht on the design and construction of Novel Deep Ellum, an exciting mixed-use development located in downtown Dallas, TX. This seven-story building features one level of underground parking and five stories of Type 3 wood construction atop a two-level post-tensioned concrete podium.

Project scope involved providing innovative structural solutions to support the diverse functions of the building, which included retail spaces, leasing offices, a lobby, walk-up apartment units, and flexible event spaces on the ground floor. Above the podium, five levels of residential apartments and amenity spaces were constructed, including two courtyards, one of which features a pool. Structura’s expertise ensured the project’s structural integrity while meeting the complex design requirements of this vibrant development in the heart of the Deep Ellum neighborhood.
