Structura was proud to collaborate with Loveless Porter Architects on the design and construction of the Northern Virginia Bioscience Center in Manassas, VA. This 30K SF commercial wet lab facility was designed to support the growth of life science-based companies. Structura provided critical structural engineering solutions for the building’s unique design, which features a mono-sloped roof, two large canopies, and an engaging ‘front of house’ façade. The building’s exterior incorporates a mix of curtain wall, storefront, and metal panels, while the interior was optimized to support the specialized needs of wet lab spaces. Structura's expertise ensured the structural integrity of the building, enabling it to serve as a state-of-the-art hub for bioscience innovation.
