Structura served as the structural engineer of record for a 350K SF warehouse project, collaborating with Merriman Schmitt Architects. The project utilized tilt-up construction to efficiently build the warehouse space, incorporating a rear dock extension to meet operational requirements.

Key contributions included:

• Tilt-Up Panel Engineering: Led the design of the tilt-up panels, providing detailed shop drawings that included panel layouts, openings, reveals, embeds, and reinforcement. These comprehensive drawings were included in the construction documents to streamline the process and prevent delays during the subcontractor’s review.
• Steel Framing Integration: Integrated all steel framing components within the tilt-up system to ensure structural stability and efficiency, complementing the overall design.
• Panel Construction & Concrete Use: Managed the design and construction of 111 panels, covering a gross area of 117,785 SF, with 108,372 SF of net area. The design utilized 3,476 cubic yards of concrete, with a reinforcement ratio of 2.93 psf, and included 11,518 linear feet of architectural reveals and 2,168 embedded items.
