This former Dupont Circle office building owned by National Real Estate Development was destined for demolition until owners filed plans with DC's Historic Preservation Office (HPO) in 2023 to convert the prominently sited 1970s-era, 114K SF office building at 1625 Massachusetts Avenue NW into a modern 157-unit residential building. Structura is honored to collaborate with Eric Colbert and Associates on design and construction phase services for the whole-building conversion across 8 above-grade levels, a mechanical penthouse, and three levels of underground parking, ensuring the 90' stone exterior facade is preserved.
