As the structural engineer of record for Wheelhouse, Structura played a key role in transforming a prime site in Baltimore’s vibrant Federal Hill neighborhood into a dynamic mixed-use development. The project replaced a parking lot, former auto body shop, and row home with a modern, multi-family apartment complex that introduces the city’s first co-living community.

The new structure features 29 residential units spread across four stories, with shared common spaces on each floor, fostering a collaborative living experience. Additionally, the building offers 5,500 SF of ground-floor retail space, contributing to the area’s lively streetscape and enhancing the neighborhood’s appeal. Structura’s expertise in design and construction ensured the successful integration of these varied uses within a limited urban footprint.
