Structura served as the structural engineer of record for the renovation of Building C at Kentlands Market Square, a historic neo-traditional community in Gaithersburg, Maryland, in collaboration with MV+A Architects. The project involved the transformative redesign of an old carpet store to create a vibrant pedestrian-focused space.

As part of the renovation, Structura oversaw the demolition of a 36-foot-wide section of the existing structure to make way for the Paseo, a new pedestrian-accessible street designed to enhance connectivity and walkability within the community. Through innovative structural solutions, Structura ensured the seamless integration of the Paseo into the building’s framework while maintaining structural integrity, contributing to the revitalization of Kentlands Market Square as a dynamic and accessible destination.
