Structura was honored to serve as the structural engineer of record for The Fillmore, a 34K SF music, entertainment, and community facility in downtown Silver Spring, MD. The venue accommodates up to 2,000 standing and 750 seated patrons, with a main floor and upper-level balcony, while the lower level includes tenant offices, performer green rooms, a 40-seat lounge, and restrooms.

A key element of the project was the preservation of the existing limestone façade and retail sail, paying homage to the JC Penney store that once occupied the site. Structura's expertise ensured the seamless integration of the historical elements with the modern structure. The project, a collaborative effort between Montgomery County, Lee Development Group, and Live Nation, brings the legendary Fillmore brand to Silver Spring, adding a vibrant cultural venue to the area.
