When you visit North Carolina's Greensboro Science Center, it's impossible to miss one of their most recently installed commissions from Baltimore, MD artist David Hess. Selected by the Public Art Endowment to create the sculpture, "Relativity" is a 70'-L x 32'-H hollow, variable triangular shape sculpture that arches over the main entrance's circular driveway, spanning two ground-supported foundations. The 15K pound sculpture was intended to highlight how art and science are intertwined on a spectrum of viewers' perspectives and Structura was proud to help bring this stunning vision to life.
