Structura collaborated with Gensler on the renovation and tenant improvement phases of Meta’s Washington, DC headquarters, which spans nine floors of an 11-story office building. The project includes the installation of three new commercial kitchens across multiple floors, as well as new mechanical systems added to both interior spaces and the main roof to support these upgraded facilities.

In addition to the kitchen and mechanical system installations, Structura’s scope involved comprehensive design services, including the review of new kitchen and mechanical equipment, structural reinforcement for equipment and floor openings, and supplemental reinforcement for a new data center. The work also encompassed the design of a steel staircase, structural support for kitchen exhaust ductwork along the building’s exterior, and a rooftop screen wall to conceal new mechanical equipment. Structura provided full construction documentation and construction administration throughout all phases of the project.
