Woodleigh Chase Expands with New Residence Building to Meet Demand
SOURCE: Erickson Senior Living
Woodleigh Chase, the Erickson Senior Living community in Fairfax, Va., has announced that Pierson Grove, the third residence building on the 42-acre campus, will open in early 2026!
"We couldn't be more excited for the addition of Pierson Grove," says Sales Director David Taylor. "This new building meets the tremendous demand in the Northern Virginia area for our active, affordable, and worry-free lifestyle. Our team looks forward to welcoming more residents to our community and providing them with outstanding amenities and services."
New designs, same great features
Pierson Grove will bring 122 additional residences to the community.
In addition to the one- and two-bedroom floor plans that were already offered in Woodleigh Chase's first two residence buildings, three new floor plans are being introduced--the one-bedroom Cambridge; the two-bedroom Montclair; and the Sussex, a deluxe two-bedroom with a sunroom and eat-in kitchen.
Each residence includes popular features, like stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, vinyl plank floors, full-size washers and dryers, crown molding in the main living spaces, closets with wood shelving, underbuilding parking, and a screened patio or balcony.
Pierson Grove will also bring new amenities, including a flex fitness space with indoor pickleball, a woodshop, and resident storage space.
Range of amenities
New residents will have access to the Emerson Square Clubhouse, where current residents are already enjoying the all-season aquatics center, fitness center, theater, hair salon and barbershop, classrooms, a library, billiards and game room, two restaurants, and a pub--not to mention the campus' outdoor bocce court, pickleball court, and dog park.
The clubhouse is the hub of resident activity, as people often go there to socialize and attend events. It also serves as a meeting spot for the community's many resident-run clubs.
"In just ten months, we already have 35 resident-run groups," says Taylor. "The fact that we have so many resident-led activities in such a short period of time is a testament to the active lifestyle that infuses this vibrant community. We are eager to get Pierson Grove open so we can have even more meeting spaces for our groups."
When the community is complete, it will also feature an on-site continuing care neighborhood with multiple levels of care--assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing.
Household name
Located just three miles from George Mason University, Woodleigh Chase is quickly becoming Northern Virginia's most well-known retirement community.
"Now that the community has been open for almost a year, our name recognition is out there. People even recognize me in the grocery store," says Taylor, with a laugh.
"Word of mouth from the residents at Woodleigh Chase has organically grown the community," he adds. "Residents invite their friends over for lunch or to join their bridge club. Some host people from their church or their synagogue. People are discovering that they can enjoy this vibrant lifestyle themselves."
Don't wait!
Woodleigh Chase is now taking reservations for Pierson Grove! But the community's Priority List, which grants members the right of first refusal on desired flooro plans and locations, is growing every day. As a result, floor plan availability is becoming limited.
"If you are looking to move to Woodleigh Chase within the next two years, it's imperative that you get on the Priority List now," says Taylor. "A fully refundable $1,000 deposit holds your place in line, and residences will be offered to members based on the date they joined the list."
He adds, "But in order to reserve in Pierson Grove--or any of our future buildings--you must be on that list!"
