Structura was proud to join community leaders at the groundbreaking ceremony for Residences at The Six, a new $110m affordable housing development in the University Town Center in Hyattsville, Maryland.
The new seven-story, 400,000-square-foot mixed-use development will include 316-units with least 75 percent dedicated to affordable to low-and middle-income households.
Working with developer Perseus-TDC and the talented architects at BCT Design Group, in addition to the residences, the development will have 2,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, a 276-space above-ground garage, and feature over 21,000 square feet of community-centered amenity space including a rooftop pool, terrace with fireplaces and grilling stations, recreational space, a dual-level fitness center and a courtyard.
The Six is also the City of Hyattsville and Prince George’s County’s first multifamily development designed for National Green Building Standard Gold certification.
The development is scheduled to be completed in mid-2024.
