Structura recently attended a joint Groundbreaking Ceremony for two of our new multi-family residential projects located side-by-side along the 14th Street corridor in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Washington, D.C.. The development parcel was split in two and will house the brand new Novel 14th Street residences and the redeveloped Faircliff (formally Faircliff Plaza East).
Working with the outstanding teams at Hord Coplan Macht, Crescent Communities, and RCP Development Company, NOVEL 14th Street will bring a mix of 197 studio, 1-, and 2-bedroom brand luxury apartments to the 14th Street corridor. The building will be seven levels above grade, include below grade parking, and will be approximately 200,00 SF in total. The new multi-family development will be conjoined with the adjacent Faircliff.
Designed by the uber creative teams at Eric Colbert and Associates and developers Jonathan Rose Companies and Somerset Development Company, The Faircliff involves a full redevelopment that will replace the existing 80-unit building with a 125-unit affordable housing building. The seven level building will include below grade level parking and have a total building size of approximately 137,000 SF.
Great work by our Structura team heading up these two awesome projects: Ryan Sarazen, Jeff Gerner, Matt Gladding and Pete Pitilis.
