Groundbreaking at Broad & Washington in Church Falls, VA

Structura was pleased to recently take part in the Groundbreaking ceremony for one of our latest projects - Broad & Washington - a new seven-story, mixed-use building with ground floor retail located at the northeast corner of E Broad Street and N Washington Street in Falls Church, VA.  In partnership with MV+A Architects and Insight Property Group, the large scale, mixed-use building will host up to 5 levels of multi-family residential apartments (339 units), as well as a new 50,000 square foot mega-Whole Foods, additional retail space, and four levels of underground and above grade parking garage.

Some other unique features of this project include a subsidized space for the non-profit professional theater group ‘Creative Cauldron’, a public outdoor “Unity and Justice” plaza, and an option to include up to 10 percent of the residential units be reserved for permanent affordable housing.
