Structura is proud to be part of the design team for the DC Dream Center which was featured on the WUSA9’s Faith In Our Town series on February 16.
Spearheaded by DC’s National Community Church, the new DC Dream Center will rise from a vacant and vandalized building at Q Street and 28th Place SE in one of the most disadvantaged parts of the city. Scheduled to open this fall, it will serve the poor and disenfranchised in southeast DC through a variety of programs and services. It will replace the existing program facility known as the Southeast White House, which has served thousands of DC residents to date. Built through the generosity of volunteers and people who are part of the community, when complete the new facility will feature an indoor basketball court, classrooms, dance studio, cafe and a rooftop deck.
