Remington Row is located near Johns Hopkins University, conveniently accessible to I-83 between the popular Baltimore neighborhoods of Charles Village and Hampden. The area has been significantly transformed as Seawall Development Company moved forward in its redevelopment plan, demolishing all buildings on the 2700 block of Remington Avenue and constructing a new neighborhood anchor. The new project boasts 108 loft-style apartments, 14,000 SF urban retail space, 30,000 SF nonprofit office space, underground parking for residents, and at-grade parking for retail visitors. The building was designed to reflect the aesthetic of Seawall’s other adaptive reuse mill and factory projects in the area, with industrial windows and historic-looking brick, paying homage to the building’s 1800s roots.
